Educational technology vs Instructional technology
I can clearly remember how i become speechless when my teacher ( Doc Reggie Gaboy) ask me what is the difference between educational technology and Instructional technology. Then I told myself, oo nga no, ano nga bba pinagkaiba nung dalawa na yun. Parang wala naman. So finally after our classmate reported about those terminologies, i finally understood (hopefully :-) ) the difference between the two. In education, the term "instructional technology" is frequently used interchangeably with "educational technology." Rasavi (2005) advocates that educational technology covers instructional technology. It includes instructional technology and the field study in human teaching and learning. So educational technology is broader than instructional technology. Instructional technology itself is consisted from two major parts. One is teaching technology and another is learning technology. In short, educational technology is broader than instructional technology. Instructional technology is only a part of educational technology. While instructional technology covers the processes and systems of learning and instruction, educational technology includes other systems used in the process of developing human capability. So if you are going to illustrate the relationship of the two term...

most effective presentation
I have learned so much in my edtech class. I really appreciate it when i learned something new form my teachers. It feels like i am two or three steps ahead of my co-teachers (hehehe). I have learned how use power director, moviemaker and creating a blog. its self-fulfilling when i have made a powerpoint presentation that won in the district competition (and hopefully will win in the division level).
The question now is, which is the most effective? For me, it is better to use power point presentation in class. It is not that time consuming like preparing power director and moviemaker...

my experience in using technology in teaching
Pupils nowadays are so hard to please. They are having a hard time listening to teachers for minutes. But let them sit in front of television or computer and magic! their attention are focused on it. They can even remember every single detail of what they watched.
Ive tried giving them variety of activities to catch their attention and help them learn better but i had a hard time doing it because of the large population of the class i am holding right now.
One time, I was doing a powerpoint presentation for a district contest about photosynthesis. It was recess time and my pupils noticed that i was doing something on the computer. they all gathered in my back. I let them watch the presentation ( which I Inserted a video clip ). After watching, I asked them , "Did you learn something from the powerpoint?" They said "yes ma'am. I don't believe on what they told me so i asked a series of question about photosynthesis. Surprisingly, they answered almost all of the questions correctly. So this is it. This is what they have been looking for in class fof them to learn better. Now, as much as possible , I prepared powerpoint presentation for my class and download some useful clips that will help in facilitation of learning inside my class. Pupils now are beginning to be aware of the technology that can help them learn better but the problem are the following:
1. availability of materials
2. knowledge of the teachers in using the technology
There are lots of software program that can be used in presentation of lesson like moviemaker, power director etc. But the problem is the preparation of the materials. It is very time consuming to prepare those. In addition to the fact that teachers have to prepare lesson plans, class records, etc. It is just additional burden for teachers.

Expect the Unexpected
I've been through a lot this past few weeks...Hay life, sometimes i told myself it is so unfair. Bakit ang hirap hirap ng mga pinagdadaanan ko? Bakit yung iba, ang sisimple ng buhay nila? I always end up saying, siguro this is my fate. One of my dearest friend told me "pag pinanganak kang mahirap, kasalanan yun ng mga magulang mo. Pero after 30 years of your life at mahirap ka pa rin, kasalanan mo na yun." Yesterday, i texted my friend, i told him I am so tired of my life. My friend told me, wag ganyan, you have to be strong. And he asked me why I told him that.
Three weeks ago, I went to my obgyne for a check up.That day, i had an scheduled exam in one of my subjects in doctoral but I decided to go for check up because the pain is unbearable. I was experiencing heavy and prolonged menstrual period. My doctor told me to undergo ultrasound before giving medicine to stop the bleeding. So I went to the clinic for ultrasound. The sonologist told me to lay down in the bed. I was hoping that everything would be fine. Unexpectedly, she told me I have submucus and intramural myoma. I was speechless and I don't know how to react. She told me to go back to my obgyne and give the result of the ultrasound to her. I was alone that time. I want to cry. I thought I would die. My ob told me i had to undergo D and C. To make the story short, I undergo the treatment and rested for two weeks. I was supposed to go back to work last Tuesday. But again, unexpected incident happened again. It is my son this time...
