Educational technology vs Instructional technology
I can clearly remember how i become speechless when my teacher ( Doc Reggie Gaboy) ask me what is the difference between educational technology and Instructional technology. Then I told myself, oo nga no, ano nga bba pinagkaiba nung dalawa na yun. Parang wala naman. So finally after our classmate reported about those terminologies, i finally understood (hopefully :-) ) the difference between the two. In education, the term "instructional technology" is frequently used interchangeably with "educational technology." Rasavi (2005) advocates that educational technology covers instructional technology. It includes instructional technology and the field study in human teaching and learning. So educational technology is broader than instructional technology. Instructional technology itself is consisted from two major parts. One is teaching technology and another is learning technology.In short, educational technology is broader than instructional technology. Instructional technology is only a part of educational technology. While instructional technology covers the processes and systems of learning and instruction, educational technology includes other systems used in the process of developing human capability.So if you are going to illustrate the relationship of the two term...
